ADT6: NORTH WEST EAST TOURS : 13 DAYS ( Ba Be, Cao Bang, Ban Gioc waterfall, Ha
Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau. Overnight in Maichau.
You will be met up by Lotussia local guide and driver at your hotel in Hanoi and head west towards Hoa Binh province. Following lunch in a White Thai village in Mai Chau valley we spend the afternoon walking through the various ethnic minority villages in this area. In the evening, enjoy the traditional music and dance shoe which will be performed by local villagers. Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 2: Mai Chau – Son La. Overnight in Sonla.
After breakfast served by the Thai people under their house-on-stilts, we leave Mai Chau making our way west to Son La. Upon our arrival in Son La late in the afternoon we check into our local guesthouse where we spend the night. Son La is located in a scenic valley, inhabited mostly by the Thai, the Muong and the H’mong minority people. This area is historically important for its involvement in the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France during the first half the 20th century. Overnight in Sonla.
Day 3 (B,L,): Son La – Sapa (250km).
Drive from Son La to Sapa via Than Uyen. Lunch in Than Uyen. On the way visit some villages, take pictures. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Sapa.
Day 4 (B,L,D): Sapa Trekking - Homestay.
Walk down through the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van. The trekking route offers some challenge as you balance on the rice terraces and a small trail on the steep mountainside. The vegetation is dense as the trail leads up to a peaceful village perched on the Hoang Lien mountainside, relax by a local stream for a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at homestay at Ta Van village.
DAY 5: SA PA / BAC HA
You visit the Sa Pa market where ethnic groups come to exchange their agricultural products or sell their traditional costumes facts carefully at the hands of women. It is also the place well loved by young couples. From miles around, radiant Red Dao women flock to the market of the gothic church of Sa Pa and leaving their woven bamboo backpacks colorful embroidery. Amazing to look at in their huge red hats, they are very friendly and only too happy to pass the time of day and speak to passers-by. Members of different ethnic minorities, dressed in various traditional styles (indigo tunics, skirts folded developed, jackets nailed money) come up from the valleys to reach the busy market of Sa Pa. They carry all kinds of goods on the small mountain ponies they guide through the steep streets of the city.
You are going to climb the mountain Ham Rong (Dragon jaw), where we can not miss the opportunity to take beautiful photos of the region. An interesting walk will lead us to the theatre where we will have the opportunity to witness the spectacle of dancing five races of Sa Pa (optional for groups of 10 or more people). Lunch. DAY 6: BAC HA / PHO GIANG / PHO QUANG / HA GIANG

DAY 7 : HA GIANG / QUAN BA / YEN MINH

DAY 8: YEN MINH / LUNG PHINH / MEO VAC / DONG VAN

DAY 11: CAO BANG / BAN GIOC / CAO BANG
Route magnificent falls to Ban Gioc, with the crossing of the pass My Phuc and the region Trung Khanh. Time devoted to visit the waterfall Ban Gioc, the River Quay His which rushes over rocks down in spectacular waterfalls. DAY 13: BA BE / HANOI
Board your boat for a cruise through the enchanting scenery of Ba Be. Also known as Lake of the ‘three seas’, it stretches for over 9 km in length and 1800m in width. Situated 145m above sea level the lake is the result of 3 valleys that come together in an arc. Babe is not only a site of exceptional landscapes, but also a nature lover’s paradise. Nearly forty species of mammals, more than a hundred species of birds and many butterflies can be found in the vicinity. Visits to the nearby Dau Dang waterfalls are possible, as is hiking in the surrounding countryside. Return to Hanoi pm. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation included.
